All of our trainers are fully insured, and CPR and first aid certified.

Sheryl Marszalek

Meet Sheryl, one of our highly qualified and experienced trainers, who specializes in teaching cool dogs new tricks! Sheryl has been training dogs for over 8 years. She is certified through the Council of Professional Dog Trainers and is a certified Trick Dog and Canine Good Citizen evaluator through the AKC. She is dedicated to helping dogs of all breeds and sizes learn new skills!

Sheryl is an AKC Approved Evaluator and can administer the following tests:

Canine Good Citizen (CGC)

AKC Community Canine (CGCA)

AKC Urban Canine (CGCU)
AKC Trick Dog evaluations

Virtual Home Manners (VHMP/VHMA)

Sheryl is also certified as a Trick Dog Instructor through the Do More With Your Dog Trick Dog program.

Melinda Berger

Introducing Melinda! In addition to being a Certified Professional dog trainer Melinda is also a Board-Certified Canine Behavior Consultant; licensed Family Paws Parent Educator; and certified Fear Free Professional Trainer. With all of her extensive certifications she specializes in working with families who struggle with reactivity and family-dog dynamics with infants/toddlers. She has over 30 years of experience professionally teaching students and their dogs so she has seen it all! Melinda continues to dedicate her time to this line of work because she thrives on watching families enjoy and fall in love with their cool dogs!

Donna Greco

Meet Donna! Donna is a Certified Professional dog trainer through the council of Professional Dog Trainers. Donna has worked hands on with countless breeds throughout her career. Her own dog Luke drew her to this line of work. Fascinated by the ins and outs of behavior and determined to find a way to communicate with her spirited pup she began her journey to become a certified dog trainer. She would later go on to help many more owners who are in the same shoes she once was. Today Luke is a great demo dog, loving member of the family, and a pleasure to be around. Donna's area of expertise include reactivity and aggression as well as canine nutrition.

Jocelyn Papageorge

Jocelyn has 9 years of experience working hands on with dogs in various settings. She is a certified dog trainer through the Council of Professional Dog Trainers as well as a certified Trick Dog and Canine Good Citizen evaluator through the AKC. At CoolDog Academy we believe that learning never stops- that's why all of our trainers continue their education by attending seminars and workshops. That way you know you are getting the most up to date information available!
